Unearth & CREATE Your Mythic Map

open for enrolment now!

UNRAVEL the tendrils of your life, FIND YOUR COMPASS and guiding tales & CREATE YOUR UNIQUE mythic map

Stories have been our unseen guides for millenia. From our ancestors telling tales under starlight and around the glimmering embers of a fire, to printed books and bulging shelves today, these tales remain anchors in the storm, helping us to make sense of the changing world around us, providng solace and a sense of hope in a crumbling world.

But with around 11,000 books published every day, how can we find the wisdom we truly need? How do we even know where to look?

In this new course, we will roam the myths and tales of our ancestors, seeking ancient wisdom and replanting it for our time, and our lives. Together we will welcome twelve stories, meeting characters such as the Cailleach (a winter hag), Brigantia (a flame bearer), Boudicca (the warrior) and Ceridwen (the cauldron keeper), who will act as both guides and inspiration.

Stories shouldn’t remain stagnant on the page - these unfurling mythologies are alive - and so in our time together you will also craft your own words that emerge from these ancient roots, and create your own unique mythic map: four pieces of writing to reflect the four different directions of the compass.

And here’s the thing - you don’t need to call yourself a ‘writer’ to do this. This is soul-led roaming. This is your journey, and so there’s no one better qualified to write it than you!

roam the myths and tales of your ancestors and replant them for our time

Journeying for two months overall, we will spend two weeks in each place - north, east, south, west - to read, immerse, walk, write and gather together as we walk the wild pathways.

By the programme’s close in May, you will have crafted your mythic ‘map’, and each will be unique.

Imagine having a map you can turn to for guidance and wisdom, a map with modern myths, crafted by your own pen, all intrinsically connected to your life’s journey. How powerful would that be?

The programme will include. . .

NORTH - bone magic, forests & wise women

The NORTHern tales are full of tree kin, winding pathways and rooted ways of being. They are steady and strong, a drum beat in the darkness. But don’t be fooled: while these myths hold grounded wisdom, they are also powerful initiators, lighting the flame of the unknown.
